Reviews on this site are submitted by customers through the form on the Reviews page. Here’s exactly how we handle them.
We publish the good and the bad
We do not filter reviews by rating. A one-star review from a real customer gets published the same as a five-star one. If we did work for you and you weren’t happy with it, your review belongs here as much as anyone else’s — and we’d rather have the chance to make it right in the open.
We don’t pay anyone for reviews, we don’t offer discounts or anything else in exchange for them, and nobody connected to the business writes reviews of our own work.
What we do remove
Every review is read before it goes up. We only decline to publish one if it:
- is spam, advertising, or has nothing to do with our work
- is about a different company
- contains someone’s private information — a phone number, an address, a full name other than the reviewer’s own
- contains slurs, threats, or personal attacks on an individual
- is clearly not from someone we actually did work for
That’s the whole list. A review isn’t removed for being critical, negative, or unflattering.
Changing or removing your own review
It’s your review. Email cnvroofing71@gmail.com and tell us which one is yours, and we’ll correct or delete it. You don’t need to explain why.
Why this page exists
Businesses that quietly bury negative reviews while showing off the positive ones are misleading people, and under the Federal Trade Commission’s Rule on the Use of Consumer Reviews and Testimonials (16 CFR Part 465) that kind of review suppression is against the law. Publishing the standard we hold ourselves to seemed like the honest way to run this — and it means you can judge for yourself whether what you’re reading is the full picture.
