This page explains what happens to information you give us through this website. It is written to describe what the site actually does, not to cover things we don’t do.
What we collect
If you leave a review, we collect the name you type, the star rating you choose, and the text of your review. That’s it — the form doesn’t ask for your email, phone number, or address, and there’s nowhere for you to enter them. Your name and review text are published on the Reviews page once the review is approved, so please don’t include anything in them you wouldn’t want shown publicly.
If you call or email us using the phone number or email address on this site, we’ll have whatever you choose to tell us. That’s an ordinary phone call or email, not something this website records.
Automatically, like every website, our host records basic technical information about requests — IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. This is standard server logging used to keep the site running and to block abuse.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t use analytics that profile you across other websites. Your browser may store a small amount of data locally for the private admin pages, which only we use.
The spam check on the review form is Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy- focused alternative to reCAPTCHA. It looks at signals from your browser to tell humans from bots. Cloudflare states that Turnstile does not use your data for advertising and does not track you across sites.
Who else is involved
We keep this list short on purpose — these are all the outside services that touch anything:
- Cloudflare hosts the website, stores submitted reviews and photos, and provides the Turnstile spam check.
- Resend delivers the notification email that tells us a new review came in. That email goes to us, not to you.
We don’t sell your information, we don’t share it for advertising, and we don’t send marketing email through this site.
How long we keep things
Approved reviews stay published until you or we remove them. Reviews that aren’t approved are deleted rather than kept. Server logs are kept only as long as our host retains them for operational purposes.
Removing your review
If you left a review and want it corrected or taken down, email us at cnvroofing71@gmail.com and tell us which review is yours. We’ll remove it. You don’t need to give a reason.
Children
This site is meant for homeowners arranging roofing and siding work. It isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If what we collect changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
